Valentines Day is my favourite holiday.

And I’m single.

But that doesn’t matter. Because I adore Valentine’s Day.

And people say it’s just another day. But then again so is Christmas, and New Year’s and St. Patrick’s Day, and Australia Day, and the Fourth of July, and the Queen’s Birthday, and Easter, and Halloween. Unless you get into the spirit of things.

And I choose to get into the spirit of Valentine’s Day - so to me, it isn’t just another day.

Love is such a fragile thing to me. It’s a big thing, but every time I think of it the concept just seems far to grand for me to understand, and it seems like such a pure concept that deserves to be treasured like a precious jewel. I never want to besmirch the word love with cynicism because it is an amazing force in life that can do so many wonderful things.  And while it seems to me to be this fragile thing that needs to be nurtured and protected against all the evils in the world, Valentines Day is dedicated to love. A day where love can be expressed loudly and proudly and a day that it is strong. Love is strong on Valentines Day and that is why it is my favourite holiday.

No matter what.

The fact Jo can be more of a punk than Alex was when he was an intern.

I admire her now.

I just hope they don’t have any more crappy life off’s. I mean - it’s assuring to know the can relate about something in the past, something that has moulded them.

I just want them to find some present common ground as well - you can build an eternity on the fact you both had crappy childhoods. Alex has moved on and evolved. It’d be nice if Jo could do that with him.

And I will now be quiet.

It’s like it’s made of polar bear.
